Empowering Families, Transforming Communities

Accessible, real-world ABA support that uplifts every child and family, fostering safety, hope, and lasting progress in homes, schools, and communities.

Our Commitment to Every Child

MisFit Project ABA Foundation grew from years of witnessing local families struggle with gaps in support and limited access to practical behavioral care. After working in classrooms, homes, and clinics, our founder recognized that real change only happens when support extends beyond the clinic, right into daily life. Our mission is to meet children and families exactly where they are, focusing on meaningful skills that matter at home, in school, and in the community. By blending clinical expertise with hands-on guidance, we build confidence in caregivers, strengthen family systems, and create lasting opportunities for growth - especially for children often misunderstood or underserved by traditional models. We are committed to including every caregiver, educator, and child in Saint Joseph, Missouri, in our circle of support.

Meeting Children Where They Are

Families in Saint Joseph face unique hurdles - waiting lists, financial concerns, and uncertainty about how to best support their child's needs. We respond by weaving clinical knowledge into real-life situations, creating a bridge between expert strategies and daily routines. Our team partners with caregivers, teachers, and local organizations to offer individualized support - whether during bedtime routines, in classrooms, or on community outings. That means strategies are developed with your family's rhythms, safety needs, and child's strengths in mind. Our mission is practical: empower adults to support meaningful change and equip children with vital skills that help them succeed in every environment. Through collaboration and advocacy, we focus not just on progress, but on building a sense of belonging and security for every family we serve.
